IAPMEI award: “Wide Scope is an SME of Excellency”

PME Excelência label is a recognition given by IAPMEI (the Portuguese Agency for SMEs and Innovation) to Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in order to distinguish those who have better performance.

Tipically, PME Excelência enterprises are companies that have financial and revenue racios above the national average. These companies are able to keep highly competitive skills, to generate employment and wealth.

Wide Scope has been awarded with PME Excelência label on a public ceremony hosted by the Portuguese’ Economy Minister.

Deloitte ranks Wide Scope in “Technology Fast 500 EMEA 2012″

Wide Scope has been recognized in Deloitte Technology Fast 500 2012, as one of the technology companies that have achieved the fastest rates of revenue growth in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) during the past five years.

Wide Scope managed to score in the 291th ranking position, together with 11 other Portuguese companies that were able to grow despite the difficult economic situation that the country is facing presently.

“Making the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA ranking is a testament to a company’s commitment to technology,” David Halstead, Deloitte United Kingdom and partner in charge of the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA programme. “With its 521% growth rate over five years, Wide Scope has proven that its leadership has the vision and determination to grow in difficult conditions.”

Marketeer: “Wide Scope is a Golden Brand”

In August 2011 Wide Scope has been recognized by the Marketeer Magazine as a Golden Brand, in its annual edition “The Gold Edition”.

This edition consists in a compilation of several national and international brands that have been highlighted due to their visibility, growth or empathy with customers.

Internationally, the magazine highlighted brands such as Coca Cola, IBM, Microsoft, Apple, Google, MacDonald’s, etc.

The magazine also highlighted “Super Brands in Portugal” such as EDP, Sagres, CGD, Continente, etc.

The brand “Wide Scope” was distinguished in the “Gazelle Brands” category with respect to the projection and awareness the company attained after being cited in the InformaDB report that placed the company in the Top10 of the higher growing Portuguese companies between 2006 and 2009.

In May 2011 the Exame Magazine published an article after a study of the Informa D&B (Dun & Bradstreet) consulting company which recognizes Wide Scope as one of the Top10 most growing companies in Portugal.
